Shift Happens (3.0)

Capturing the acceleration of the Information Age - that is the Quest of Karl Fisch since 2006 with his first edition of the remarkable "did you know / Shift Happens".

There is 4.0 edition, but the music of the one here on the right is better ;)

A socalled amateuristic view

Internet 2.0 critic Andrew Keen attended in 2008 my country. Well, with contributions such as cueking21 the web 2.0-sceptic can really eat their hearts out! ;)

Proof of Evolution?

In the ongoing debate Creationists versus Evolutionists this is an interesting angle I stumble upon: the differences between great apes and mankind in chromosome pairs. They've got 24 of 'em, we 23.

Professor Kenneth Miller explains this missing link.

Unrevealing the human genome

I never got it completely aligned: the human genome. The sequences of our DNA, why is it we share quite a lot with flies or pathetic little worms? This 4 minute vid brought me for one to a basic understanding. Finally ;)

Who wants to live forever?

It's puzzling - even more after this vid. Did we evolve to get it all in our hands?

Between Water & Land

Between now/here & ...

The University of Chicago discovered the link between fish and the first land animals.
"Some" time from now "they" will come up with us; the last sapiens  between Earth and ... Cybersphere? The Universe? Another Universe? All of these?

Also we are only just a blink in Time & Space. Remarkable & insignificant at the same time.

Panspermia

(inseminating the Universe...?)

Panspermia is a very interesting branche of the youngest scientific discipline astrobiology.

Planetary life originated from space.

We are cautious though about one of Panspermia.Com's missions: spread it ourselves through! We for one don't want to have a xenocide - or geo-genocide - on our conscience.
